I would say that true enlightenment is, the awareness of the infinity pattern that creates consciousness and use that for your own interests. You think what you are, and you can evolve as you please. You are no longer restricted to this box reality, you can walk different paths that you never truely thought was possible before.

How do you know if you're enlightened? You start seeing positive things reflected back to you. You start "sharing" rather than just "talking" and things happen that appear to be "too good to be true"

One enlightened master taught when you are enlightened you see everything around you and behind you with your eyes closed, including things that are hidden in boxes and, drawers, and pockets. Joy! :)
