the way he (and more Russian pianists) play touches my heart enormously. I think this is a very passionate interpretation of my favourite piece of music! I love it and really feel sorry Alexei is no more among us
...hearing the legendary A. Sultanov at a real Chopin Competition 15 yrs ago, doing the f minor...so what does he sound like...entirely respectable...very "musical"...but too impulsive and impatient...not enough interest in inegrating the movement so it hangs together and "holds attention"...the concerto is "less then the sum of its parts"...but Sultanov was destined to be "always" like this, really...
The jury must go out here and let them play for the people first thing. What is this?

i know what caused Alexei to die. IT WAS THE JURY. what a shame, just award him the first prize, better than alexei dying. what a shame.
