This is great rugby. My sadness at watching it is that the skills you see are rarely exhibited at the highest level these days. Don't get me wrong, rugby is bloody impressive now, the Lions v Boks series in 09 was about as good as the game can get. But I can't see the game being sustainable in it's current form if it's all about contact - these tries and the thought that went into them show that scoring is about avoiding contact through guile, skill and pace.

There is no doubting Kirwan's talent, but Terry Wright, on the other wing, had a far greater range of skills. For those viewers of this clip who don't know this game, Wright came across from his wing to join the backline and scored the try that levelled the scores. Grant Fox, kicking into the sun, was unable to convert Wright's try.
