  • Congratulations to all who have watched this series. You are now in the small group of people who have some foresight.

  • Wow. That was powerful stuff. We need more people like David Suzuki who speak rationally yet passionately and hit people on a personal level.

  • TO AIR IS HUMAN

GRATEFULLY WE CAN CORRECT MUCH OF THIS BY USING THE SCIENCE AND THE SACRED STORIES TO AWAKEN OUR COMEUNITIES

  • is the video broken?

  • Great speech. I have many videos that explains how air and other components affects nature and humans. Subscribe to my channel and share relate videos, content or comments.

  • What about volcanic ash?

  • great speaker but it got a bit crappy at the end. I thought he was going to burst into a whitney ballad we are the air!

  • This guy is amazing. We need more scientists like this who can really capture an audience and make them listen.

    Stratvic:

"He has crossed the line from scientist to propagandist." That's not exactly a bad thing considering the times we live in. People listen to propaganda. My government (USA) is a perfect example. As is our media.

  • Reality is nature, we will all die. His point was not to prevent dieing but to improve quality of life. You may disagree with that objective but even if you changed the objective the logic as to how to achieve that might require a different focus.

  • The guy in the first video (right after the second minute) said "the biggest problem in the world is that we all die..." viewing death as a problem and not as a fact of life (and the natural world) is what created and continues to contribute to the population related issues he listed in that speech. Any solution he has to offer will be based off that underlying belief and will never lead to a resolution. I think it's more dangerous to give people false hope than to tell them what Suzuki does.

  • The problem is that scientists need to leave room to be wrong. He fails to do this and falls into what may in time be looked back on as Malthusian nonsense.

For an alternative view that does not deny that global warming is real see:
