Why does anyone think we went to the moon. Why isn't anyone talking about the Van Allen belt that basically encircles our entire planet and is comprised of radiation levels so high for 25,000 miles in length. The radiation levels are so high that any living creature would be totally fried. They say you would have to construct the craft from lead and it would never get off the ground. You can orbit the earth under the belt but can't pass through it.

@JackKlompus13 - you can't watch the doc the interviewee made (kubricks odyssey) on youtube but you can download the full movie. You will never look at the film the shining the same again. It's such a masterpiece. Even stephen king doesn't know what it's about.
