Worthy Of A Holiday Donation?

Hearing bad things about The Salvation Army not being a good organization to donate to if you support gay rights, so who is?

It always shocks me to hear about

These organizations that are against

The LGBT Community that will take money

From gay people knowing that they are against us

I guess they love our money more than their beliefs!

@cdnsee I didn't mean to sound so abrasive. I've recently experienced the execution of that ban and while I do think the Red Cross does do many great things, they have a lot to improve on before they get any vote of confidence from me.  Ditto on the holiday wishes :)

@limesalza I agree that this ban doesn't make sense and if you don't feel comfortable with the organization it's best you don't donate to them. Hope you have a great holiday season

@cdnsee The Red Cross has instituted an irrational and discriminatory ban on gay blood donation. There are extensive reasons why this is unjust. The ban was put into place in the 1980s because it wasn't deemed cost-effective at the time to test the blood. All donations are tested today. Why is the ban still in effect? This is one organization I will not be supporting
