This is the battle music, done in Mario Paint Composer, for Akira's chapter (Near Future) from the game Live a Live for the SNES. This song also goes by Mecha Battle, found here http://youtube.com/watch?v=PcSBYw_ycms
@NARFNra I'm pretty sure you're thinking of when you use attacks that require you to build up for a few turns.
Because those turns are passing and you have no control over it, any attacks the enemy/enemies planned to do will happen before you get your attack out.

There's one or two scenarios with that, as far as I can tell. I remember Sundown Kid's scenario playing like that, but none of the others.
also stuck on oboro's scenario lol.

Funny then, how the enemies will continue to use attacks constantly when I just wait and don't do anything in some battles.
O'Course, in other battles they do wait for you. Still, sometime they don't.

Although it's hard to tell by watching, it's actually entirely turn-based. Nothing will happen if you don't press a button.
