Sylph Sylvan and Rescued Baby Flying Squirrels

Here's a video of myself, the forest and rescued baby flying squirrels, this past summer and fall.

I'm sorry about the blurry and wavy video quality . . . it looked great before the upload. If anyone has any tips for ending up with a clear, sharp video after uploading on youtube, I'd sure appreciate it! I'm using sony vegas 5.0 and have used all the high video quality settings I can find on it. Despite the quality, I hope you enjoy it! :)

wow, they are cute. Great work Cgee.

I use vegas 7 and guess the difference would be minimal. I always add col correction and upto 50 percent sharpen to all footage and 100 percent sharpen to added text (this looks harsh when editing, but when uploaded to YT its perfectly crisp.)

Thanks for coming by, Mike! Great atmsphere in the summer, but laid-off for the winter :( But that's cool, cause it seems like I've always got too much to do, so I'm trying to play catch-up right now!

Baby squirrels need not much more than puppy formula and water. The thing is to let them go when they get teeth before they become spoilled.

My position isn't as wildlife focused as it implies and doesn't pay well, but I love it's atmosphere and what I believe is it's fundamental purpose (contrary to some revenue based points of view). DNR workers range from housekeepers to conservation officers--a wide spectrum. My work is seasonal and I work mainly with people, so hands-on wildlife stuff is done mostly on my own time. "the squirels . ." Vice verse, and Thank You! :)
