One day, can you sing again? :(

I also downloaded this song in June of 07. Ever since then it has become one of my favorite go-to songs over the years. Ive listened to it hundreds and hundreds of times. It is still so beautiful to me and never gets old.

According to my MP3 library, I downloaded this song is June 2007. So I guess I found it shortly after you uploaded it. Here I am, four years later, I found the song, listened to it and remembered how beautiful it was. Since I didn't tell you in June 2007: nice job dude. The singing, playing and arrangement are all lovely.

Hurray! There's more people out there who want to end up being old and having lots of cats :3
I first watched this vid like, 2 years ago, it makes me feel so old and nostalgic. You really have a talent, you really do.
i'll marry you

@erincruse But I'm supposed to die alone in a dilapidated old house full of cats. :( Marrying you and being happy would screw all of that up.

awesome. Your voice with Harp is amazing. good choice for instrument to accompany your wonderful voice =) I'm learning Harp at the moment and i can't say i've ever been so happy to play such an instrument.

@lonaldness I understand 100%. I wish I could put into words how euphoric the first year of learning was. It was painful, and a lot of times infuriating... I remember all those blisters, with the occasional "pop!", where I'd look over to see red splattered and running down the strings. But honestly, I've never been so happy to learn something new, not before or since. Wish I could go back and do it all over again.

@sosogood HA! so true. I haven't quite yet experienced bleeding fingers. I did, however, have the blisters to show. I suppose Harp is the perfect instrument to learn. You may become so infuriated with it, but it doesn't take very long before you start to play again and zone into it's sound. That's what I love. I can never stay angry for long. The sound is just too beautiful. How long have you played for?

@lonaldness (1/2) Shit! 4 months later and I'm just now seeing your comment? Apologies... Well, when I recorded this (2007) I'd been playing for two years, but had only taken one year of lessons.
After I made this video, I pretty much stopped playing harp altogether. Three years passed without me ever really touching it. But, just a couple months ago, I caved. I couldn't put it away forever, haha. It's now sitting right across from me here in my bedroom, with a set of new strings.

@lonaldness (2/2) You're dead-on, though. There's no way you can stay mad at the thing for long. It's too damn beautiful. : P And "zone into its sound" is true to life, too.. so easy to get lost in it. How long have you played?
