A man who crashed a vehicle into a house in Pacific Beach Sunday was arrested after fleeing the scene, a San Diego police sergeant said.
The suspect, in his 20s, struck a house at 3617 Ingraham St. around 12:15 p.m. and drove away, then abandoned the vehicle and ran when he was followed, Sgt. Art Campa said.
Moments later, someone reported the man breaking into an apartment at 3777 Jewell St., Campa said.
Police surrounded the building and arrested the man just before 1 p.m., according to the sergeant. The arrestee's name was withheld pending booking.
