If you've done stranded knitting in the round before, think twice about how you carry your colours when they're tensioned around the neck.

I found out the hard way that colour dominance rules are reversed when purling colours with the yarn tensioned around the neck, but just watch the video and you won't make the same stupid mistake I did.

  • Wow! I think you're very clever to work all this out and you explain everything SOOOO clearly. You could be about to save my (knitting) life!

  • I'm pleased to hear that the video is going to help you! I don't know about the "clever" tag though, because I have a pair of odd mittens who would dispute this. ;-)

  • striking contrast between the two mittens. thanks for the video.

  • Thanks for the comment. I'm glad the difference between the two mittens showed up as the lighting in the video was a bit poor. But good to hear feedback that you could see it.

  • Your pair of mismatched mittens is an excellent tool for proving your point. Very interesting video and clever observations.
