@Stelena22 I'd say he reacted like Elena reacted to Stefan. The difference between Stefan and Katherine was that Stefan didn't compell Elena not to be afraid so she accepted him eventually. Stefan didn't have that chance.

@CloudySalvatore14 He was compelled to have his fear taken away. He was scared of who Katherine was when he found out. He couldn't accept that she was a vampire. He was too terrified. He didn't really love her.
