It's not trench gun. Trench guns have perforated cover of barrel and are shorter. This is a civilian version of M1897, army model looks different.

Oh wow, I didn't know a Chapparal Arms made these. Only ones I knew about were the original Winchesters and Cimmaron. I'll have to look into this.
