You can make excuses all you want but it is still not a good video. It is too bad they took a great song like that and made such a poor video out of it. I love U2 (the group) so I was expecting better in a video. Oh and thanks for not calling me names this time. I appreciate it.

The concept of videos was not entirely a big deal back then. Furthermore, this was an Irish band in the 1980's! They might not have had money or people to come in to give ideas. Besides, while you don't need money to be creative, these guys might have come across too arty farty for some or weird with their ideas. Straight forward no nonsense tune with a straight video. Many bands hate doing videos
