I have to say this: Alistair is one of the best characters in the game. He comes off as aloof and unintelligent, but its mostly a face he shows the world. The guy is actually very intelligent, and sees a lot more than you think he does. Also, it is refreshing to see a Paladin type character that isn't exactly a paradigm of holy virtue and uses his head and heart when deciding what is right rather than choking down religious dogma.

@animeotaku307 Ugh, thank god they didn't do that. I was glad Casavir ended up the way he did in NWN2... he really had a stick up his rear end and disapproved of anything I did that involved stealing, which sucked because I was a rogue.

@TheRevanindoril Especially one who cracks jokes all the time! Originally, he was supposed to be the strict, paladin who did whatever the Chantry said to the letter. So glad they went with the one we all know and (most of us, at least) love.

Alistair hates me, mainly cuz I always kill shit first, asks questions later. He then starts acting like a pussy while Sten and Morrigan approve of my actions. Good thing Zev replaced him in my party. Wish Alistair would just be the funny guy all the time and not a little bitch.

You know, it's kind of funny... there's nothing in this trailer (as opposed to those for Morrigan, Leliana, and Zevran) that hints at a possibly relationship between the player and Alistair. Yet the Alistair romance is probably the hardest to achieve, and arguably the most fulfilling.
