@playwithme30 sakotgrimes. new diesels equals audi r10 tdi. no smoke and 810 ft lbs torque and dead reliable.

@SakoTGrimes- all the reasons are gone? So the new x3 20d getting 46mpg while absolutely beating the life out of it for the whole tank shows that they have given up on fuel economy? Negative... and they burn ultra low sulfur- the same thing required in all US pumps. the 30d vehicles are a blast to drive too and the 40d in the x5s are very powerful and very quick. the x3 20ds are pretty loud and rev to about 5500rpm, but the 6 cyl 30d and E7x 40ds are very quiet and smooth. I know, I build them.

@rsxzx6r They're too quiet and gasoline like, they can not burn proper diesel fuel, vegetable oil, they rev too high and put too much emphasis on performance rather than fuel economy. All of the reasons to like diesel are gone in the new engines.
