I install cabinets professionally in greece where we don't have drywall, we have to predrill the walls because they are made of brick. I install the kitchens by myself with no helpers and I don't use any type of device to hold up the cabinets. Why not pre-drill your cabinets at the same height and same distance from the side, measure out everything on the wall put in the screws then hang the cabinets directly onto the screws and use a washer to tighten them to the wall.

you will find it alot easier to take the doors

1. it prevents you scratching and dusting up the doors

2. helps with hand placement for easier manuverability of the cupboard

it may be tedious but thats how i wouldve done it once installed use a step ladder and clip doors in
