Hey everyone,
I am back. Listen, I know the first one was like finding gold because people heard it and could never find it. One reason why no one could find it was because NFL Network content was rarely put up. That's happens when fewer people can watch it on their home TVs.
Well, here's a remake of the NFL Network Thursday and Saturday Night Football music theme. You might be pissed off because Joe Theismann is calling games again and he sounds like cat whose tail is being pinched and watered. He's basically the waste of sperm known as Skip Bayless with a little more sense, but has more consecutive hours of airtime and a prestigious venue to let us know that he has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
Bob Papa is not liked at all. He was a famous HBO announcer who called a strange sport that no one cares about anymore and requires you to wear tuxedos when it's in Vegas ... boxing.
The other four-letter douchebag Millen can try all he wants ... but ... come on???
The man who built the Lions to be 0-16???
I know NFL Network viewers hated Bryant Gumbel, but they were too harsh on him. He was better than what they have now. You can't expect him to be SUPERB when he's NEVER called anything. He technically is better than four-letter (ESPN for those who don't know) douchebags like Dan Shulman and Mike Patrick. He's also technically better than Joe Buck (a.k.a. "The Nepotism Kid") because one guy actually earned his job at NBC, the Today Show, the Early Show, Real Sports on HBO, subbing for Regis on 'Regis & Kelly', ... (you get the picture). The other guy's mommy, daddy, and a producer (Ross Greenberg) declining in mental health got him jobs. I could get hired by an old man when he forgets things occasionally, believes that all resumes are not fake, and doesn't believe that "nepotism" is a real word.
You might think I'm crazy, but I make some sense. Gumbel spent too little of time announcing, but the aforementioned suckers spent at least 15 years and still can't do shit. So he was actually off to a good start by surpassing the low expectations set up by idiots (Oh yes. I forgot Jim Nantz. The quiet-ass golf announcer who is way too "Non-Fat Vanilla" for football. This idiot gets all the good games?????).
But if we need a new announcing team ... I have my solution.
Gus Johnson
Mike Mayock
Brian Baldinger
Johnson can thrill you and the other two won't fuck around like those mall chicks Theismann and Millen. Mayock and Baldy can just be straight forward with football. They do so on 'Playbook'.
At least on 'Playbook', they aren't like a certain asswipe we see on ESPN's "NFL Matchup". On that show Merril Hoge will say dumb shit like "Randy Moss played his best game without the football" (via Coaches' Tape) when he slacked off against the Carolina Panthers (who, by the way, accused him of doing so). At least we don't hear guys like Ron Jaworski saying that "Peyton Manning is aging" just so he and Hoge can keep the fledgling game film show on the air.
I'm not saying that Hoge and Jaws don't love football, but at least we can hear Mayock and Baldy's passion and not judge their credibility.
The bottom line is that a new version of the NFL Network theme is here. Let's complement this theme with newer and better announcers when the coverage should be better than ... someone else's.

Do you have the updated version of the theme that they use in the intro? Some other user had it and lots more NFL music but then his videos must have disappeared so I guess he got banned.

@TheBigFiz21 no ... I think they have so many versions of the original so I am not sure which particular one you're talking about.
