@relachief What's cool about the fireworks during new years and 4th of July is they have the usual fireworks that they have every night but then during the holidays they keep them going.. the fireworks also get even louder than the everyday fireworks.. almost deafening (sp?)... it's definitely worth seeing :)

@ivettelarrabure I went there at the beginning of March last year, and it was no problem at all getting around.
Of course there are a lot of people there, but I did not consider it crowded. Guess it's a lot more people during the summer and other holidays. If you contact customer service, they will probably be able to tell you which part/-s of the year it is better to visit. I hope you get to enjoy the beautiful fireworks with your mom :)

@jackiefl1982 I haven't seen the fireworks in MK, but I can not imagine how any fireworks can be better than the one I experienced at Epcot last year, and that was an ordinary day. Guess the fw at new years, 4th of July etc are even more amazing.

epcot fireworks are way better. i go there every other year for xmas/new years and it never gets old. they have dances, the illumination show, and country countdown. iv seen magic kingdoms and they dont have nearly as much. still good but not better :)

I think fireworks are better at Epcot. I've never been to Magic Kingdom for the New Year's, but we went for the 4th of July celebration at MK. I just personally think Epcot is better overall for the fireworks.

I was working at Village Traders that night. I got out of at exactly midnight that night and didn't clock out until the show was over. Spectacular.
how about the crowd at Epcot? Thinking to take my mom (78 yrs old)

@ivettelarrabure Depends on your mom's health condition and physician... If her physician says it is ok, I don't see the problem. Keep in mind the crowd is large so it depends on her. I would not take my in-laws simply because they HATE crowds. If she has knee problems or something, there are wheel chairs to rent for, I believe, $10/a day. We went on Craigslist and bought a wheelchair for mom because she has polio.
