The reality is this is a World Economy based of ENERGY and as long as we import the vast majority of ours, we will continue to have to try and keep the World Peace. If your job or living situation (home owner, etc . . .) really requires one gas guzzler, I have no problem with you having one. But if you live in a apartment and drive one or more huge Joe Be Cool SUVs just because you can, I think you should be drafted and sent over replace one of my Marines.

Yeah he was my 1stSgt at 3/12 then became our SgtMaj. I was amazed he was still Active Duty. I'd have thought he'd be long retired. He always was motivated though!

I was just checking out vid here and as a former Marine Officer and prior enlisted man I was suprised to see that the SgtMajor of the Marine Corps was my old 1stSgt from 3d Bn, 12th Marines. Sgt Major Kent was a Sgt Major when I left 3/12 in 1996 as a Corporal. He's earned his place as SMMC for sure. Many people don't go 13 yrs in the military let alone 13yrs AS a SgtMaj. Good man!
