The Dallas Zoo

http://www.yctv.tv/dallas/ - Located at 650 RL Thornton Frwy, Dallas, TX 75203. A bronze giraffe measuring 67½ feet greets guests as they enter the Dallas Zoo. Come nose to nose with a chimpanzee and watch tigers swim at this new and improved zoo that features three major attractions: Wilds of Africa, Zoo North and Children's Zoo. It also has Reptile Collection, Reptile Discovery Center, and a Walk-Thru Rain Forest Aviary. Take advantage of their Picnic Areas, Gift Shop, and Adopt-An-Animal Program, which is all conveniently located at the zoo. The facility in total houses approximately 8,000 animals representing some 380 different species. The hours of operations are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. $8.75 Adults (age 12-64), $5.75 Children (age 3-11), $5.00 Seniors (age 65 up).
