Most of the backgrounds in this vid are acrylic paint, either straight on the pages or over paper of various patterns & textures. I used some oil pastels for finishing touches & edges, but I don't like them so much for whole backgrounds since you can't really write over the top of them. & the stamps I'm using here are from scrap booking stores. :) :) :)

what kind of pastels are you using for the background color? It kind of looks like oils, but then the ink would smudge. And it looks more vibrant than chalk pastel. Also, do you make your own stamps?
