Wow, this is awesome. Very realistic to the original mall... love it!
-
they should bring back the clock and fountain, I like the way this mall used to look

Oh! I remember playing this map - a lot of fun, lots of places to go and explore.

I was there 2 weeks ago. bought a grinder to roll some fat ones haha
-
I remember when this map first came out for this there was a store on the second floor dedicated to the site with random zombie movie posters... *sigh* good times, good times

@CFodderESG yeah, after you download the dawn of the dead map, how do you play it?

can u still download is if you don't have L4D?

@MinecraftRecreate You'll need the game "Land Of The Dead: Road To Fiddler's Green". It's still available to buy, or you can "acquire" it via less scrupulous measures.
You don't need L4D to play what you see in the video.

@CFodderESG ok i'm gonna try and get Land of the Dead. Are all the stores in the game right? is every single store there and in the right spot how it was in 1977-78?
MinecraftRecreate 9 months ago
@MinecraftRecreate Unfortunately, not all of them. However, it's still a very faithful recreation. You can enter Penney's and The Gun Store (which occupies where "The Cheese Board" would've been) in terms of stores. You also have the helipad and the Hideout accessible.
As a side-note, I've noticed that some of the links aren't working any more. I'll see what I can do on my end in terms of finding replacements, but I can't guarantee anything. Sorry!

Is this even the real monroeville mall?
liam68s 10 months ago
@liam68s "Real" in so far as it's a virtual map based on the actual mall, yes. Well, as it was in the 1970's. Things have changed over the decades. See the "Director's Annotations" for a bit more info on the mall itself.
