I thought the purpose of liking a brush was it's effectiveness. I cannot fathom the idea that lack of embossing makes it less effective or not as good.

I mean, seriously...a better brush because it is embossed? Maybe if you are a name brand buyer, but those who are serious about brushes could care less;(

If you know you are more into name brands than quality, then stick with MAC. Putting money into other brushes just to downgrade them over the logo seems silly.

while I will admit that my preference for embossing is strictly personal, you will note that that this is a initial impression video and should in no way been viewed as a detailed review.

I would like to point your attention to my more detailed review of the sigma 109, which I trust you'll find in my video list. There you will find see I go into more detail as to why I think the sigma brushes (that I have tried) are of sub-par quality.

I agree with you 100% Brand shouldn't matter. If its a good brush then its a good brush. Its sad how some people are obsessed with "brands" these days.
