I use this drum scale exercise when I set up a new drum set or new arrangement. They're a great way to get to know your drums!

  • do you paradiddles to switch around the sticking or odd note groupings?

  • @allmetaliswelcome For this one, since I'm just using groupings of 2, I place a double on each end to turn things around. For 4, 6 or 8 I would use some form of paradiddle ( I like the double in the middle to even things out a little r l l r l r r l).
