@99joey1 I do not know because I am a massage therapist and only deal with muscle problems. So I would hate to take a guess. Sorry I can't be of help.

I get this pain from playing video games. It hurts like hell sometimes.

@99joey1 There are a couple possible causes. One is tight scalene muscles. I have a video on that called "Numb Fingers from Tight Scalene Muscles - Part 1" so I look at that. Another possibility is tight forearm muscles. Press firmly on the thumb side of your forearm. Go the entire way from the wrist to the elbow. See if there are very tender spots. Check a muscle on the palm side of the forearm about 2 inches from elbow crease called pronator teres. (google it)

@DiscomfortFree Kk thanks for that but one thing that i am worryed about is that with my thumb, even when i just leave it and don't touch anything it does not hurt but it feels like i have pins and neddles in my thumb as i keep geting a tingling feeling in my thumb. What does this mean and is it bad and it also feels like it is stiff. This scares me as i get in even when i don't touch anything but it doesn't really hurt it just feels stiff.
