does it matter if i played only FF VII and FF X-2 ? Does the story follow any of previous games?

@Br0lyy Well - this is the first one I have played since 8. It follows the story of 13. But the cool thing is (and I will show this in my review) is that it includes a Primer storybook from 13. So you can actually read the 13 story - chapter by chapter before playing. I have enjoyed it - and felt that it stands alone well as a great game by itself. I am loving it so far.
