  • @adamjlemus this is an original, this is not a clone saleen xp8, yes i have seen clones but notice the plaque and steves signature, he won't sign clone saleen xp8's i have his personal cell if you wanna call me on that, oh also casey's a whore momma's girl small town loser,,

  • that's what's up!! haha

  • Just wondering, if that is a true Saleen what happened to the Powerdyne blower, the side skirts and the unique interior with the carbon fiber trim and two tone seats. I couldn't really tell from the front view but does it have a unique front lip?

  • carbon fiber's on the steering wheel and mirrors, the blower was a dealer add on,(not factory stock) I wasn't impressed with the blower enough to add one, especially the $3600 price tag, id rather go for a high output 302 but that's just me. thanks 4 the question.

  • Where's the throttle body? hmm, you see that black tube with the air filter on it? if you follow that upward, you'll find it in this order. Air filter, MAF (mass air flow sensor) intake tubing, throttle body.

  • @adamjlemus fun “Disclaimer I recognize that there are some who are against cloning specialty cars like these. The clones that I have built are true to their OE counterparts and at no time have I ever clamed any of them to actual numbered production vehicles”

  • I love these. I have always wanted one but that looks less and less likely as time goes one. Too bad Saleen doesn’t offer any of the XP8 parts or else I would build my own unnumbered but complete spec accurate XP8 clone. I have been involved with several Saleen and Roush clone projects and I think building a XP8 would be fun

  • @X92Exploder oh i couldnt agree more... i hope i dont see this one listed as wrecked on the explorer xp registry

  • This is your truck, and you don't know where the throttle body is? Anyone would know its right there where the air intake is....Read over a repair manual and take good care of that rare truck.

  • @blunt5261

  • were you kidding about the throttle-body?
