CODEPINK and Collateral Repair Project are working on funding special Father's Day micro-projects for Iraqi fathers who are trying to support their families amidst the insecurity of refugee life, poor living conditions, and dwindling personal resources. These are the harsh realities that rob many Iraqi refugee fathers of their sense of purpose and worth and lead inevitably to over-riding hopelessness and despair.

As to Ayn Rand: Do you support Bush & hold her views? Do you support McCain, or is he the lesser of two evils? Shouldn't you be supporting someone like Ron Paul? I mean in terms of national policies his is the closet to hers. As to Iraq war, that can be argued. But the way laws are being passed in Iraq, without a doubt it is against her views. Iraq currently is a puppet regime, with America forcing its views. Iraqi people, poll after poll, want occupying army out, but it disregards them.

Would you like to have DU shells test in you neighbourhood? The whole of Iraq and Afghanistan is a testing ground. When the Right begins to stand up for others and really care, then come back and say that they are standing with God. When they know the history of our (US & UK) interventions in those countries and the REAL reasons behind them then come back to me. Not the land of the free but the land of Amnesia and ignorance. I did not intentionally quote Franz Kafka (never heard of him b4). It is an old proverb that has its roots much further back.

I think the left are self deceiving and hypocritical but I also think the same of the right. The (extreme) left is immoral and causes depravity, but the (extreme) right is amoral and are hypocrites as they only see the speck in their brothers eye. We are perfect why look in the mirror?
