In early 2007, two groups dedicated to consensus building came together with a belief that the U.S. urgently needed to improve relations with the global Muslim world, while also enhancing U.S. security. Together, these groups launched the U.S. - Muslim Engagement Project with a goal of delivering recommendations for a new strategy to improve relations.

Have you watched the UN Human Rights videos? It's unbelievable. Everyone else is supposed to change, and make things better for them. Ask them to change something, like sharia law, and you just might end up dead. sharia law "is" islam. They couldn't change if they wanted too, because islam dictates what they can and can't do. What a bunch of idiots. I've already done my cross-cultural research, and I am appalled! Is the USA going to enforce the laws against polygomy, so muslims aren't having 20 kids while we're having 2? Are muslims going to stop marrying off 4 years olds, stop honor killing, stoning people, cutting off limbs? Watch the UN videos concerning Human Rights, and try not to laugh yourself to death. Great ideas. This is what Britain did, and now, muslims are operating their sharia courts there. muslims will never accept anyone who is not muslim. Moderate muslims will stand there and watch you being murdered. They will not fight against their own muslim brothers. In the UN, the committee for human rights is a joke. You can't say anything about sharia law, or they have fits. Marrying off little girls, stoning people, killing gays, and more are sharia law, and that is islam. Don't be fooled.
