Nice job on the video. I found it o Google Earth. I am looking forward to exploring the area in next few years when I retire. It reminds me of a "southern Black Hills" Island in the Plains - - Island in the desert.

Awesum place! Went to school in Portal. I was the only 8th grader in a 2 room school. Closed down. We closed it down. Long story! Awesum Area! A must see if your in the area. Road over the mountain is Awesum! Cochise head in the chiricahua nat'l monument on way to willcox. Must see...

Thanks for this video....I remember camping there throughout the 70's and climbing all around those cliffs. One of these days I'm going to make a trip back to that area.

You're so lucky to be there!
Cave Creek Canyon is an area of unparalleled beauty. I've never seen any other place like it.
I'm glad I had the chance to visit and make this video.
This is really a beautiful and special area. I'm happy that I'm able to share these videos with other people who like the mountains just as much as I do! :)

Fantastic video! The Portal area is one of the great birding spots in the country!
I will be down there this summer (Jun-Sept) working for Dave Jasper, offering guide services to any birders who come down. If you want to see Owls, Trogons, hummingbirds, or just go birding for the day, look me up. :D

Thanks!
Cave Creek in the Chiricahua Mountains is a sight to see.
Another part of the mountains there, Chiricahua National Monument, is also another amazing place to visit.
