homemade tool to twist bar stock. How to twist bar stock to make cool looking coils. I am showing how to make a tool from a harborfreight wrench and then I twist steel bar stock into cool looking coils. I am using that little harbor freight stick welder and a DHC henrob torch.

  • Hey Freddy,I think you make really great no nonsense videos. You have a great natural ability to explain in plain terms what you are doing. I like how you are explaining everything you are doing and why.

One suggestion on this video, wouldn't it have been better to use a cheap vise grip instead of the crescent wrench, which wouldn't fall off after the twist? :>)

  • @a500603497384 thanks for the advice ill give it a try once the burn ban is lifted.

  • Its not slag that you scrubbed off, its mill scale. But Im sure you learned this already. Good video, nice info... Keep up the good work.

  • @dieselwarriordotcom Thanks, I always say the wrong thing.

  • @freddytk421 Hey Freddy, I just wanted to thank you for the time you take to make this videos, and let people like me, who have never done anything like this before, learn and get started. Every time I go to an arts festival I see a lot of welded pieces, and NOW I know how they are made and I have a better perpective of that type of work. As soon as I have the space, I will give it a try...it always looked interesting to me, but I'm too lazy and busy to take a class...thank you!

  • @MiamiGuy1972 Thanks for the comment
