@KJStewart93 I would like to point a few things out to you, a) did i in any way say i way trying to be cool by putting someone else down? this guy went overboard on a harmless prank. b) I never said i didnt agree with homosexuals or their lifestyles I just called Kevin gay which in todays society often means stupid or uncool. c) ppl like me? you dont know me, if someone commits suicide for simply being called gay i would have to think there was something else going on there, wouldnt you?

Let me start by saying I think this is great, funny, etc. However, the impound lot actually had legal ground to refuse the coins.
Federal law only states that the Federal Reserve and those directly connected with it (ie. credit unions/banks) must accept all currency & coin as legal tender. Merchants are not under any legal (USA) obligation to accept federally issued notes as payment.
Still, it was nice to see the police side with a citizen for once...
