Back in October 2012 the developers took us through a demo of how Aliens: Colonial Marines was coming along. Here's a comparison between what we saw then, and the finished captured from the Xbox 360 version. Is this how it should have looked, or are you happy with the changes?

No they had 6 years to work on the game and chose to work on Borderlands more instead and pretty much shelved and nearly cancelled the game multiple times. They were not rushed at all but just didnt seem to care as much for the game as they said they did.

just because one game way bad doesn't mean the rest will be. They obviously put a lot of work and dedication into that demo and i'm sure they wanted to make the game just like that. But i'm positive they were rushed by SEGA to put something out even if it wasn't great.
