Sportbike Cornering 101

Shot this from my 04 GSXR 1000. I am only highlighting points I was taught by Keith Code at his World Famous Superbike School. The School is amazing and enabled me to reach a level of riding I NEVER thought I could. Anyone serious about prefecting their riding should give it a try. Dude...this looks so much like Oregon.  Where did you shoot this video? I just got a bike recently and you're making me seriously anxious to go home this summer and ride all the back roads!

Yes, it is Oregon. It's out by Sherwood, it's a place called Sholls, which is in between Sherwood and Beaverton/Hillsboro. Let me know if you want specifc instructions and/or shoot me an email address and I'll get ya the route via Google Maps.

it's really stupid but applying what little i've learned from this video not only helped my confidence in riding fast on my motorbike but it also helped my lap times in the video game motogp '08 hehe

It means when your front tire hits the imaginary X...corner at maximum lean angle and gently roll on the throttle as you go through the corner and then float to the outside of the corner. Shoot me a PM if you got any more questions man...glad to help as someone was there to help me! :) Ride safe!

@joeblow1001 ...k sounds like waiting till the very last second to start to turn with max lean is a good way overshoot the corner if you miss your x by just a fraction of a second and thats the last thing you'd want to do with a car coming the other way or a deep ditch if the corner goes the other way
