I did not laminate any parts at all. I only used a hot glue gun that's it

Not bad, especially considering the amount of time wich it took you to get this far. I can see that you´re using a quite different method to build your model. You use double-layered cardboard whilst I use single-layered cardboard (except for the bottom plate, wich is double-layered.) Plus, you seem to laminate pieces of cardboard together, that´s good if you want a strong model.
