My pigeon, Scourge, has PMV, But in her case she always has her head twited or is jerking it :( she may not live, but I am medicating her :) Happy to hear that he recovered :)))

I think my ringneck dove just got that! Went to the vet but the only thing he said. It's a neurological desease, but i,m seeing there is exactly what my bird does. Can dove catch it to, and what can i do to help it.

Thank you, I just read this comment today, I found a pigeon with this disease too but it doesnt do this yet, but he cannot pick the seeds.

Yes, Jimmy-Z was rescued on 23 October 2008, and flew off in January 2009 to join the local flock. He was doing fine the last time we saw him, before we moved.

Yes, Jimmy-Z recovered from the PMV, developed into a strong, handsome macho male "teen-ager" pigeon, flew off after nearly three months with us to join the local flock. I saw him a month or so ao, doing well.
