The dog is fine. Dogs aren't able to cool of their bodies the same way humans do. They pant to regulate their body temperature. Kind of like when humans remove a piece of clothing.

Dear Kittenless,
Your's is the most insightful comment I have gotten so far. First of all, let me say that Sugar is not my dog. She belongs to a neighbor. She follows me almost every time I go for my daily walk and that certainly seems to make her happy. It was on the warm side that day. She is not in very good condition and tires easily. So, D (All of the above) would be right on the money!

Hello Neighbor!
I appreciate your concern but Sugar is not my dog. She belongs to one of our other neighbors. She likes to follow me when I go for a walk. If she follows me all the way back to my house, there is water waiting for her. That video clip was shot a few hundred feet from her owner's house and I'm pretty sure they also have water for her.
