My dad is a real gypsy all his life he has suffered abuse from people and myself was bullied because we r gypsies and called names like tramp ect. Even though we r the cleanest people around and our homes r spotless and we have pride in the way we dress. People should think twice about what they say about us because its hurtful. We gypsies women r loyal to our husbands and families and my husband doesn't beat me. I have an education and a degree. Don't judge us all the same.

What do these girls mothers do? They all say how they do everything for there little brothers and sisters, like cooking for them getting them ready for school, and bathing them. What is the Wife's job after she has a daughter to pawn all the kids and work off to?

now call us,muslims sexist!!!!! hahahhaha we have many illitarate ppl but its not a matter of choice in them but a must that comes out of poverty mostly.Saudis promote female education Maroccan government has more women in government than lets say Poland.THIS IS A MATTER OF CHOICE.So why dont you ostracise them similarily to us??Cause their "white" and christian?

I don't really understand how cleaning a small caravan can take so long? How on earth could it take all day??

I agree. We as gypsies get judge a lot on the way we dress and how they used to do things in the older days.

With disuse, all skills fade. They probably have no time to read with all the work they're forced to do. :/ But letting your children become basically illiterate is one of the foulest things you can do, in my opinion. I can't imagine life without books and articles. D: OR INTERNET. D8

She is waiting to get married to change her life.. the thing is that her life will not be changed at all, she will still be cleaning and cooking - maybe for less people for some time, but afterwards she'll get her own children and the circle will come to the beginning.. I suppose that in case she doesn't have any occupation or hobbies this "change" can be a dramatic one, but I think there are other possibilities - but not for these girls
