solid_bsps used for this? hows the performance? :E

That is such a unique feature. Not seen it used in any games before!

cool!
just have the door made of stone\metal to make it seem unbreakble
-
I see the floor is impervious to mere explosions!

no BSP, performance is good. Of course Intel 945 GPU users can forget about this game. But if you have something like GF 8800 GT with 512Mb VRAM, you will have smooth experience.

well, we are still accepting the fact that we make games in a such way that they are beyond what's real or what's not. Right? :)
Technically, we can make anything blastable.
However, it's not the core mechanics of the game. There are technical, time and other constraints in the game development process. So we assume people figure out that if door can be blasted, it's probably because some magic was cast upon it ;)
Maybe we will allow some doors to be blown up, eh ;)

YEs, iT iS :)
This is no voxel tech and there might be issues with collisions if we start deforming everything. Plus, damaged floor doesn't add anything to the game play ;)

@ halo41293: why do you think so? Player will be able to place "markers" on the level and navigate to them using compass. We are engineering a map too.

we won't just make it easy for ya ;) Yes, 3 bombs to breach through the walls.
Make no mistake, this is no Bomberman. Blasting through the walls is not the main focus of the game. Bombs need to be found and used wisely. Creatures of the dungeon won't let you stay in place and wait ;)
When alpha is out, we shall see about getting more powerful bombs player has to assemble or find.
