2012 Super Ténéré Adventure XT900Z Concept

This is an personal concept study of a 900 Super Tenere Adventure. It is based on my 2010 Super Tenere concept studies. The upper sidecovers are redesignd with a bigger air intake and it has now a larger 33 Litre fuel tank. The bike is stronger than the XT660Z and the F800GS but still capable for offroad sessions anywhere.

Note that this is an personal work and no official concept by Yamaha.

The Supertenere 1200 is overdeveloped, too fat... even not more powerful than the others. Its very sad that Yamaha is too much stupid to check this what the market wants. So BMW made the race over years without concurrence ... now there comes Triumph as the next who has understood. The 800XC is a real hit in this class - and 2012 comes the 1200 Explorer and this will be the new leader. 2013 strikes BMW back with 1250LC ... and what does Yamaha, where is the 900 that would fit in all points?
