1st- dont people know BEBOT is a derogatory term in tagalog. I dont know why the hell they are saying bebot- but its ok, most of you guys are just amazed and content theres a song with tagalog..talk about colonial mentality.
and yeah ofcourse theres another old guy in their videos. thats because its their struggle. and this generation is doing nothing about it...except dance to BEBOT. good job!haha

this is a sentiment shared by a lot of people, especially in wake of that open letter. because of these contradictions, though, it'll allow us to be more sharper and critical as to why this song was made in the first place, video or no video. having a visual made really does make a difference for this song in particular. i think it brings a lot of interesting conversations that we should all be having amougnst each other, and how we can help and support each other through constructive criticism.
