  • I miss country music like this. There needs to be a radio station that just plays true classic country... Not the rock crap we have today...

  • @milesw1966 yheea 2003 when Johnny Cash died... well, at least we still got waylon and merle

  • There is no country music now. To play and sing country music requires talent, hence it is no more. Only hunks and bimbos are all you see, all looking the same all sounding the same. No characters: Merle Haggard, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Tammy Wynette, Tanya Tucker, Emmy Lou, Dolly, If you have internet radio you can tune in to country music, real country.

  • fucking good song

  • real country... not that crap they put out today

  • I can't tell you how much I loath today's "country" music! Why even call it country, why not call it light rock? Either way won't this crap sell? I was flipping throught the channels recently and stopped on CMT, where there was some show that had "artists" on stage singing Edgar Winter Group's "Free Ride" and totally rockin' out. I say country music died in '81 with the advent of Alabama. Anyone else have a different year?

  • @poohski2012

This song is playing at the moment on Highland Radio, great station

  • @joeytwosubs I agree! I like some new country music, but most of it is more rock than anything. I hate that people say certain songs are country, when you can't even hear a steel guitar or fiddle in the mix. I wanna hear at least an acoustic if I'm gonna listen to country music. I hate that even country stations that claim to have the "most variety" don't really play any of the old stuff. The country station I listen to most, recently got rid of it's Saturday oldies show... Very upsetting...

  • @poohski2012 You're right even the sattelite stations all play the same old top forty crap. I heard this playing in Cabelas Hunting store in Maine and thought " Jesus I miss this music" they are trying to shove garbage like rascal fags and brad parsley on us. Where is the next Merle Haggard or Johnny Cash? Most of the guys on the Opry now have less balls than Minnie Pearl. Not you Trace Adkins, I don't want him hunting me down and kicking my ass.
