@noosmum who cared who he was married to. the lady is now dead and Johnny has remarried. A woman is not her family. old news and very yesterday. Johnny contardo is and always was a class act you never ever hear him be idrespectful of a lady and this past summer he gave an interview and said very kind things not only his first wife but her mother and his own. class act. I would not want to be judged if I had a family some people might look down on.

I saw Sha Na Na four times in concert in the 1970's. Mr. Contardo is the only singer that made my mouth drop. Has to be the greatest singer I ever heard. As for the comment below. The Earls did the original "Remember Then" and "Never". I assume they used the same bass singer.
