  • going to the races back in the day was the equivalent of watching ruth,maris,mantle.... night after night

  • @mikebordon Yes the game is done

  • Great job Holly

  • It seems like no matter where you go, if someone mentions horse racing Stanley Dancer's name will shortly follow. A Great Man,,, and also a Great Family!

  • Wow, this was great to see! I remember going to the farm with my Mom (the cousin mentioned below) and watching them work out. I loved going there!

  • That's for sure. Stanley and my 91 y/o mother were 1st cousins. The whole family was like that. Very proud, stubborn, hard-working and family-oriented.

  • Stanley Dancer was a world champion harness driver. I acutally had the privilege to see him drive horses to victory in Vancouver at Exhibition Park, mediorcre horses than no other driver could win with. It was really something out of this world to see him 'connect' with them and win effortlessly against much better stock. He truly was the best there ever is even today.

  • AMAZING

  • Take a look at the whole Dancer family, they all have that drive and Persistence in them. You could knock the Dancer's down and they will stand right back up again.

  • This was truly a remarkable tribute written and narrated by Bob "Hollywood: Heyden. Don't be fooled by the nickname "Hollywood"... Bob is a man of great humility and this tribute was the finest and perhaps best written eulogy I have ever witnessed.

Of course, credit (too) goes to Marjorie Mamaril for editing and the accomplished Sam McKee for this magnificent production.

Stanley Dancer would have been in "awe" of this acknowledgement had he seen it.

    Great job everyone!
