A competition to find the best talents throughout the University has concluded.
Carnegie Rewards Talent has been on the lookout for students and staff with the X-Factor in a range of categories, including musical, artistic or sports-related performance, writing and cooking.
The overall winners came from Regional University Network partner Newcastle College. Purple Shards are a five-piece band who impressed the Carnegie Rewards Talent judges with their originality and musical flair. Neil Ward and Kurtis Reid were the well deserved runners up.
