it sounds like you've dubbed the sound with an mp3 / cd version of the song. you should've kept the original sound from the tv program (totp)

@KhanadaRhodes Nah this performance is lip-synched. Shame.... half the time on TOTP, they lipsync and the other half, they sing live. This performance, the band just seems to lipsync to it. The poster didn't do anything. I can tell....

Hey, this is going to sound really sad, but I was in the audience for this when it was broadcast (it was done live, but they're miming) and I think I can actually see myself in it. Unless I'm mistaken (and I could be as I only get a back-of-the-head shot) that's me hitting the balloon at the 40s second mark! Wow, I've suddenly discovered I'm famous (sort of) :-)

I was a huge DD fan back in the 80s and still am, but I have to say, what was Simon smoking when he came up with the lyrics to most of his hit songs! Even this one is a bit kooky. I don't get what this song is about and never did.
