The Symbols is a band that incorporates funk, jazz, and blues sensibilities into a pop format. The original music they create is an amalgom of these styles, combined with the songwriting techniques of Mer Sal and Jasco. When doing any kind of a cover, often they will style-swap 2 or more popular tunes to give listeners something familiar and new at the same time.

Like most bands, The Symbols are driven by a shared love of the music they make. Unlike most bands, The Symbols are committed to using a share of all money generated from their music to help out Michael Raymond Olson, a friend suffering with Multiple Sclerosis.

The Symbols hope you enjoy their music and they hope you join in the fight to find a cure for MS.
