DMC stands for "Disco Mix Club". The gold turntables were awarded to the World Champion each year. It is not a skin / sticker. They were made specifically for World Champions. With the Technics being discontinued Rane awarded the winner with a Gold Sixty Eight Mixer. Thank you, that is all.

Actually you are wrong. DMC stands for Disco Mix Club, as I said before. They are the ones who hold the DJ championships each year (began in 1985). The gold turntables are what were awarded for winning the world DMC championship (starting in 1989). Now they give a gold mixer, but back when Kentaro won (2002) it was gold Tech 1200s.
Learn your history before you answer questions. Hell, even go read Wikipedia or something.....
