Adam's first burn at Last Concert Cafe

A fire spinner in training for months, this is me lighting up the meteor hammer for the first time at The Last Concert Cafe in Houston.

For practice I was using a meteor hammer made of nylon rope - this was the first version of my fire wick that I made using kevlar rope and thread that I got from www.firewhip.com.

The construction of the wick was based on instructions at www.homeofpoi.com with some minor variations. If you're looking for fire spinning how-to videos, this is a great place to find them too.

This was my first time, so be gentle. I'm pretty stoked (pun intended) about burning - thanks to Tom for all of his help and support.

Lots to learn, much more to practice - I haven't stopped smiling since.
